Meyers' Rebellion was a Geoffrey Bilson Fiction Award finalist; her picture book Maple Moon was a Storytelling World Honour Title winner; and her most recent novel, Acts of Courage: Laura Secord and the War of 1812, was shortlisted in two categories for the Word Guild Awards. Connie lives in Peterborough, Ontario. Scott Cameron has written seven books for children and has written and edited numerous high school and college textbooks. He is also an educational content specialist for companies such as Sesame Workshop, where he has helped develop curricula for international versions of Sesame Street. Cameron has been an instructor and teacher trainer in Japan and the United States.
