Annie's school lunches are concocted by her 'artistic' sister Zara and contain such delights as pears with cheese spread and biscuits made with radishes. It isn't until she becomes friends with Gwendolyn - an only child with the 'perfect' lunch - that Annie learns to appreciate her unusual family and her sister's lunches. This funny and uplifting story encourages appreciating the differences in others, through vibrant, full-colour illustrations.
