All creatures sleep in their own way, from bears hibernating in caves, to horses standing in fields and seals stretched out on their flippers. This charming bedtime book explores the different ways animals slumber, from familiar pets like cats and dogs, cosy in their baskets, to the less well-known cricket and moth. Charlotte Zolotows gentle and timeless language combines with exquisite illustrations by Vladimir Bobri to create a calm, comforting text that is the perfect precursor to nodding off.

'A brilliant book to hold ... it has a cosy warmth and each page draws in the eye - it's hard to choose a favourite scene! ... By helping to re-situate humans as one among many kinds of life, 'Sleepy Book' plays an important role in reminding us of who else our actions affect - as well as being enjoyable to look at whatever your age.' * Armadillo Magazine *
