Caroline Plaisted worked in publishing for several years before becoming a full-time writer, and is published by Bloomsbury, Simon and Schuster, Picadilly Press and Scholastic. She was born and brought up in London and now lives in Ashford, Kent. Nelson Evergreen lives on the south coast of the United Kingdom with his partner and their imaginary cat. Evergreen is a comic artist, illustrator, and general all-round doodler of whatever nonsense pops into his head. He contributes regularly to the British underground comics scene, and is currently writing and illustrating a number of graphic novel and picture book hybrids for older children.
