Gavin Hannah was educated at the University of Birmingham, St. John's College, Cambridge and Kellogg College, Oxford. In 1988, he was elected a Fellow of the Society of Antiquaries. He has taught in Independent senior schools, examined history at A Level and trained as an ISI Inspector. Currently, he is Head of History at Summer Fields, Oxford. Following on from his BA at Leeds University, Paul Spencer gained his P. G. C. E. at Nottingham University. Having been Head of History in now three preparatory schools since then, he is presently combining that post with the position of Academic Deputy Head in London. He has been involved with the History ISEB team for the past few years and recently trained as an ISI inspector. Byron Dawson is a form Assistant Head Teacher and has written over 20 science textbooks.
