The perfect gift for every flower girl--with practice petals! Here comes the bride . . . but first comes the flower girl! Come along on this rhyming story as our little flower girl discovers how special her part is in the big day -- and how much fun a wedding can be. Sweet, delicate art by Janie Bynum takes the reader from dressing to dancing, and everything in between. With a gatefold that reveals at the big "I do" moment, this padded book celebrates an important day, and the little girl at the center of the party. The reusable pouch full of cloth petals allows her to practice for her big part.

Jennifer Dussling is lucky enough to have been surrounded by great children's books her whole life. As a teenager, she started working at a children's-only independent bookstore in Pennsylvania, and after graduating from college, she made her way to New York City, where she took a job as an editorial assistant at a publishing company. Since then, she's written over fifty books for kids, both fiction and nonfiction, licensed and original, including Bugs, Bugs, Bugs; Pink Snow and Other Weird Weather; Giant Squid; Slinky Scaly Snakes; and One Little Flower Girl. Jen lives in Tampa, Florida, and when she's not writing or editing, you can find her in her garden, on a volleyball court, or curled up with a good book. Author-Illustrator Janie Bynum is a graphic designer, but makes time to write and illustrate picture books whenever she can. Learn more about Janie at www. janiebynum. com.
