Dorian Cirrone is the author of the teen novel Dancing in Red Shoes Will Kill You, which was named an ALA Popular Paperback and made the Amelia Bloom List for Feminist Fiction. She has written other books, short stories, and poems, as well. She is the Workshop/Intensive Coordinator for the Florida SCBWI and presents writing workshops at conferences and schools. The First Last Day is her first middle grade novel. DAVID LUBAR created a sensation with his debut novel, Hidden Talents , an ALA Best Book for Young Adults. He is also the author of the Nathan Abercrombie series, True Talents , Flip , and six Weenies short story collections. He lives in Nazareth, Pennsylvania. Terry Trueman has worked as, among other things, a therapist, a community college writing instructor and an annuities salesman. He is also a political activist, a public radio film critic and a published poet. He is also the father of Sheehan, who has severe cerebral palsy. STUCK IN NEUTRAL is his first novel. JOSEPH BRUCHAC is a poet, storyteller, and author of more than sixty books for children and adults who has received many literary honors, including the American Book Award and the PEN Syndicated Fiction Award.
