Michael Broad's unique story of love and friendship carries a strong message about being different. When Broken Bird is born, he doesn't know that he's different. Then, his brothers point and laugh at him because he only has one wing - how will he ever be able to fly? Undaunted, he sets out on a journey, determined to make the best of things. Sure enough, that leads him to his soulmate and to realize that being different often means being better.
