Brian Speed was formally Chief Examiner for GCSE maths for AQA(NEAB) and has worked for QCA on KS3 testing; Keith Gordon is Chief Examiner for GCSE mathematics for AQA(A); Kevin Evans is an examiner for GCSE mathematics for AQA(A). All authors are currently teaching mathematics. Keith Gordon was formerly Head of Maths at Wath Comprehensive School in South Yorkshire. He is a team leader for KS3 Maths National Test marking. Collectively, Evans, Gordon, Speed and Senior have over 100 years of teaching experience, both in the classroom and leading maths departments.
