This compilation contains the following Foxwood stories: Robbery at Foxwood: Mr Gruffey's shop is robbed and Harvey, Rue and Willie vow to find the robbers. It's a big task for the three friends but very soon they stumble across some strange footprints. The Foxwood Kidnap: Willy lets slip to the evil rats that his Uncle Henry has made a brilliant discovery. The rats kidnap Uncle Henry, and Willy and his friends must find a way to rescue him. The Secret Valley: Rosie Rabbit is sick and Willy and his friends want to help but the magic herb that will cure her doesn't grow in Foxwood. But when the friends get lost on their boat trip they find themselves in a secret valley and a new friend has the solution. The Magic Sleigh: Willy and friends come across an abandoned sleigh and when they sit in it the sleigh whisks them off to the North Pole where they meet Santa and get Christmas trees.

Brian Paterson was born in Ayrshire, Scotland, the heart of'Robert Burns' country in 1949. At the age of twelve he moved to Somerset, where he later met Cynthia whom he married in 1973. Upon their marriage the couple moved to London where Brian worked as a designer by day and on developing his own style of illustrating by night. Cynthia and Brian are the author and illustrator of the popular Foxwood Tales series.
