Containing 30 theme-based Bible stories for collective and all-age worship with follow-up activities, this title is designed to span three terms with 10 collective assemblies in each, chronologically covering the lives of David, Jesus and Peter. Each assembly plan includes suggested hymns from "Come and Praise" books one and two. There are also three original songs with simple on-the-page piano notation, reflecting the lives of the characters featured. Photocopiable extension activities cover a wide variety of PSHE/Citizenship objectives for Key Stages 1 and 2, including elements for discussion, writing, drama and research.

Brian Ogden is a very well known and respected author in the Christian market. Here he uses his child-friendly style to explain key elements of faith in the best tradition of Maximus Mouse. Illustrator Mike Phillips is prolific and his artwork is fantastic fun. Brian Ogden is author of BRF's On the Story Mat, Just Time to Catch the Post, Ups and Downs and Special Days. He is a regular speaker in schools, typically sharing his stories and his work with more than 7, 000 children in the course of a year. Jo Dobbs has taught Key Stage Two for ten years and is currently teaching Year Three. As well as fulfilling the role of RE Coordinator for her school, she is also on the Board of Governors and involved with the Resource Centre forthe Diocese of Ripon and Leeds. Jo has recently gained an MA in Theology and Religious Studies.
