The stories in this resource have been carefully chosen to suit different categories. The basic categories are "Me", "Me and You", "Others" and "Key Christian Festivals". Within these four categories, the stories are selected accordingly with some able to be applied to an immediate situation which might develop, some fitting readily into pre-selected assembly themes and some dealing with the festivals. Each story in this resource has already proved popular in the "On the Story Mat" series. The material has been field-tested with Reception/Foundation children but is suitable throughout KS1.

This book is suitable for Key Stage 1. KS1 covers school years 1 and 2, and ages 5-7 years. A key stage is any of the fixed stages into which the national curriculum is divided, each having its own prescribed course of study. At the end of each stage, pupils are required to complete standard assessment tasks. This book is aimed at children in primary school.

There are 64 pages in this book. This book was published 2003 by BRF (The Bible Reading Fellowship) .
