This Big Book is designed for whole-class teaching of non-fiction text types as required in the national Literacy Strategy. It provides large-format versions of four of the "Year 2 Spotlight on Fact Core Texts". "Spotlight on Fact Big Book 3a" contains 64 full colour, large-format pages reproducing extracts of the following Core Texts (actual page numbers given in brackets): "Digging for Dinosaurs" (pages 2-16); "Finding Out about Volcanoes" (pages 3-10; 16-22); "Art for Everyone" (pages 2-11; 14-23); and "How to Make a Rain Gauge" (pages 2-13; 16).
