In "Roadwork!" by Sally Sutton, children are taken on an exciting journey through the world of construction. The story unfolds as busy machines and workers transform a bustling street, showcasing the various stages of roadwork. Young readers are introduced to the sounds and sights of the construction site, where trucks dig, bulldozers push, and asphalt is laid. The rhythmic text and vibrant illustrations invite children to engage with the process of building and teamwork involved in creating their surroundings. It's a fun and educational story that sparks curiosity about the work that goes into maintaining roads and infrastructure. [Generated by language model - please report any problems].
