For lunch today I have a fine treat: five little fingers for Monster to eat!
In this silly playtime rhyme, young readers will burst into giggles as they fit their fingers through die-cut holes and make them wiggle and squirm while a hungry little monster tries to gobble up every last bite! Parents play the part of the monster and "eat up" their laughing little ones fingers, turning the pages to make the finger holes disappear one by one until there are no wigglers left!
There likely isn't a mom or dad on the planet who hasn't pretended to eat their toddler's fingers and toes, and Fingers for Lunch makes good, clean, but devilish fun of this favorite game. Little readers will be drawn to the bold, colorful illustrations and kid-friendly rhyming text, each page ending with fun sound words like "nibble" or "chomp" or "burp." And once all the fingers are gone, it's easy to start back at the beginning, this time with mom or dad's fingers in the holes--if they're willing to risk it!
This book is aimed at children in preschool.
