Pugalugs - The Beginning is a delightfully illustrated book written by author Jessica Parish and illustrated by Helen Poole. The book features Pugalugs, the new cartoon Pug along with his brother Dug and Sister Bella as they take their first steps, explore their home and most importantly discover their favourite flavor of puppy food. What will they see? What will they find? What will they Chew? Meet Pugalugs: the cute, cuddly, loveable pug!

Helen Poole wanted to be a children's book illustrator from as early as she can remember. Since graduating with a BA Hons in Illustration she has worked both as a designer and illustrator. Her favourite aspect of illustration is character development and she loves creating fun, whimsical worlds with bright, vibrant colours. She keeps her sketchbook with her at all times because inspiration often strikes in the unlikeliest of places!
