All the projects involve inexpensive and readily available materials. They explain and demonstrate scientific principles, covering areas including the Moon's motions, star patterns, how the sun casts shadows, paper aeroplanes designed for distance, gravity's effect on light, light pollution, maps of the northern and southern hemispheres, the effect of sunlight on colour, the practical benefits of space research, and the timeline of space exploration.
