Anika Fajardo is a former teacher and librarian. Her writing for both children and adults has been published widely and earned awards and grants. Nadine Takvorian grew up in the Bay Area and currently resides in Berkeley, CA. She graduated from the California College of Arts where she received her BFA in illustration with Distinction. In addition to illustrating, Nadine has been an art director in children's book publishing and an art assistant in the art department of Industrial Light & Magic.
