Beverley Naidoo is a South-African born writer and an educationalist. Apartheid prevented her and her Indian husband living in their country of birth, so they moved to Bournemouth, where Beverley is an Advisory Teacher for Cultural Diversity. Prodeepta Das was born in Eastern India. After studying English literature at Sussex University, he joined the Civil Service and later became a teacher. He is currently working as a freelance photographer and author, and his pictures have been published in over 20 children's titles.
