A study of predatory creatures, this is the third book in a trilogy on animal behaviour. When hunger calls, the South American horned frog can swallow a rat whole; the killer whale will beach itself to catch a sea lion; the spitting spider glues its food to the ground before devouring it; the common octopus poisons and crushes its prey. This book on animal behaviour focuses on predatory creatures and reveals nature red in tooth and claw. Bert Kitchen's books include the two others in this trilogy, "Somewhere Today" and "And So They Build". He has also written "Animal Numbers" which was awarded First Graphics Prize at the Bologna Book Festival", and also received a Mention in the Critici in Erba Prize. His other titles include "Animal Alphabet", "Mythical Creatures", "Tenrec's Twigs" and "Pig in a Barrow".
