Prodeepta Das was born in Eastern India. After studying English literature at Sussex University, he joined the Civil Service and later became a teacher. He is currently working as a freelance photographer and author, and his pictures have been published in over 20 children's titles. Benjamin Zephaniah Birmingham-born Zephaniah is the author of a number of poetry collections for both adults and children, including Funky Chickens, Too Black, Too Strong and We are Britain. He has also written three novels -- Face, Refugee Boy and Gangsta Rap.
