Kath Hipkiss has taught Mathematics for 14 years, being an Advanced Skills Teacher, Head of Department and now a Lead Practitioner teaching KS3 through to KS5. She wrote the latest Collins' GCSE Maths Foundation Practice book. She has been an Edexcel examiner for 8 years. Brian Speed was formally Chief Examiner for GCSE maths for AQA(NEAB) and has worked for QCA on KS3 testing; Keith Gordon is Chief Examiner for GCSE mathematics for AQA(A); Kevin Evans is an examiner for GCSE mathematics for AQA(A). All authors are currently teaching mathematics. Paul Clowrey is a UK-based teacher, author and graphic designer. Colin Stobart has taught ICT, including Cambridge ICT, in Kuwait, Spain and the UK. Collectively, Evans, Gordon, Speed and Senior have over 100 years of teaching experience, both in the classroom and leading maths departments. They all currently hold senior positions within examining bodies and have been extensively involved in the development and piloting of new specifications.
