This stunning collector's edition of Beatrix Potter's classic tale has a gold-foil jacket and is published to celebrate the centenary of the book's publication in 1912. The Tale of Pigling Bland tells the story of this brave young pig and his hapless brother, Alexander, as they set off to market and become hopelessly lost thanks to Alexander's high-spirited games. with great courage and wisdom, Pigling Bland manages to evade the clutches of a farmer and a grocer who wish to make him into bacon and ham. Along the way he also rescues a damsel in distress and together they run off - over the hills and far away.
