Mega Mouse's book describes how she lives on Cheddar Street and is the strongest of the Mega Heroes, and details her rescue of schoolchildren, again from the ever-villainous Mosquito Man... The series follows many superhero tropes with a nudge and a wink; the children whom Mega Mouse rescues are wearing Mega Mouse print hats and shirts. Each of the small, square books ends with a silly secret about the featured hero, begging readers not to tell. Simple line drawings with flat washes of color help convey the story and provide humor along with the exaggerated text.-- (12/01/2015)
The illustrations are full of action and humor. Children will love these mega heroes.-- (02/13/2016)
