She inherited her mother's collection of fairy tale books as a child, and her love of those magical, fantastic, and dreamy worlds has never left her. She lives in Los Angeles, California, and this is her first book. Amy Krouse Rosenthal is a Chicago-based writer. She is the author of Little Pea, Little Hoot, and several other children's and adult trade books. Jen Corace graduated from Rhode Island School of Design with a BFA in Illustration. A New Jersey native, she now lives in Providence, Rhode Island.
