This is where we meet the whole gang, but Concrete Chips is told from Grace's point of view...Dean and Grace are totally fed up of always ending up last in the dinner queue, just because their class is furthest away from the dinner hall! They're the ones who end up with 'concrete chips' and cold peas. Bad! But Dean and Grace come up with a wicked plan! If you join a 'social club' at school, you always get to go to dinner first so that you can spend the rest of the lunch hour learning....chess, or whatever. Bingo! No more concrete chips. One by one the rest of the gang enrol for classes too, but then Mr 'The Enemy' Herbert gets suspicious - after all, it's quite obvious that none of the lazy six are there to take part and learn... the game's up and the gang are busted. Bummer. They just have to hope they get another inspired brainwave to avoid Herbert's punishment. But what?
