Timothy Truman is a graduate of the Joe Kubert School. In the mid-1980s, he worked with writer John Ostrander to create the science fiction mercenary called GRIMJACK for First Comics. For Eclipse Comics, Truman created SCOUT, a series that starred an Apache warrior in a post-apocalyptic America. Truman wrote and illustrated HAWKWORLD in the 1990s, reinventing Hawkman for a new era. Chuck Dixon is a veteran comic book writer with thousands of titles to his name, including a record run on Batman for DC Comics (where he co-created the villain Bane) and seminal work on Marvel's The Punisher.
