When four ducklings hatch out of their eggs they are upset to find their mummy missing, so they set off in search of her. This is a classic tale of small animals being separated from their families and having to find their way home while on the way encountering various hazards. Mummy is that you? is a pleasant enough storybook, on a familiar theme and the illustrations are rather like the text, not necessarily original, pleasing none the less. -- Miranda Warren

Atsuko Morozumi was born and raised in Japan. Since graduating from the Royal College of Art, she has become a major children's book artist whose work has been published in well over 20 countries. She lives in Portsmouth with her son, Vincent. She has written and illustrated many books, including Mummy, Is That You?, The Reindeer Christmas, One Gorilla, Advent Calendar, and the Baby Bunny Board Books.
