When Erica Perkins wakes up on the morning of her tenth birthday, the last thing she expects is to find a very confused elephant sitting on her doorstep. So begins an unlikely friendship. But can a small girl and a rather large elephant learn to live together in a tiny terraced house? And when the dastardly owner of the local zoo plots to steal the elephant, will Erica be able to outsmart him?

Tony Bradman is an award-winning author who has been involved in children's books for 35 years. He has written for all ages - poetry, picture books, young fiction, novels - and for many reading schemes. Tony has edited many anthologies of poetry and short stories, has been a judge on several major book prizes, and is a regular reviewer of children's and young adult fiction for The Guardian books pages. Tony has three children, three grandchildren, and lives in London with his wife and Betty the Border Terrier - which makes him the third most important person in the house. Ashley King lives and works in Warwickshire and graduated from Coventry University with a 1st Class Honours Degree in Illustration and Animation. Since graduating, Ashley has gone on to specialise in children's books and his debut, Erica's Elephant, published in 2016. Whilst being under constant supervision by his two cats, Ashley works in his studio at home where all the magic begins! Sylvia Bishop is an author of books for children, including ERICA'S ELEPHANT and THE BOOKSHOP GIRL. Her book 44 TINY SECRETS will be published by Stripes in 2020.
