Arthur Conan Doyle (22 May 1859 - 7 July 1930) was a Scottish writer, responsible for creating the literary character, Sherlock Holmes. Corinne Gosling is an author from Alexandria, Virginia, USA. Often at home working with her English Sheepdogs Sherlock and Adler by her side, Corinne was inspired to write a story about her canine companions. Taking inspiration from his literary namesake, the author penned her debut children's picture book Sherlock and the Baskerville Beast. When she isn't writing stories, Corinne Gosling enjoys taking Sherlock and Adler out for walks.
