When a bear is at play, it's always the season for fun. Children will happily join him all year long, and help him choose what he needs in every type of weather: in the heat of summer, the bear likes to go boating. Should he take his hockey stick, his alphabet blocks or his life jacket? In the autumn, the bear plays soccer. Should he take a drum, a skateboard, or a ball? Every spread offers a fun "guessing game" story with a selection of items from Bear's cupboard; when the big flap is opened, there is Bear having fun with the right object to enjoy the day, no matter what the season. Young children will enjoy showing all they know about everyday activities as they learn even more at the same time! Welcome Back! This long-out-of-print children's favourite, illustrated by the Caldecott-winning artist, Arnold Lobel, is back to delight children once more - with brighter colours, a new cover design and a whole new life.
