Annette Tison is the co-creator of the famous 'Barbapapa' series, the children's books that became popular during the 1970s. She studied architecture in Paris, where she met her husband Talus Taylor, a biology and math teacher from San Francisco, USA. Together, they came up with the 'Barbapapa' book series that started in 1970. A series of comic books followed as did a television series that provided a whole generation with fond memories of the colorful Barbapapa family.
