Gerard Benson lives in Yorkshire. He is a poet, story-teller, singer and performer whose travels have taken him all over the world. He has told stories to children in an African garden, a Channel Islands zoo and a Thames cruiser, as well as schools, concert halls and theatres. he has had many jobs, amongst them sailor, actor, teacher, washer-upper and university lecturer. He now writes and gives readings and writing workshops to children and adults. Anne Harvey is a broadcaster and poetry and literary anthologist. She lives in Ealing and has two children and two grand children.
