Lauren Mendez is an illustrator from Southern California. She currently lives just outside of Portland, OR with her husband and 2 cats. She graduated from UCLA with a degree in studio arts and is a member of the Society of Children's Books Writers and Illustrators (SCBWI). Kelly Gaffney is a former early childhood teacher who has written for Engage Literacy since 2010. When not writing for Engage Literacy, Kelly works as an intervention specialist for primary and secondary school-aged children. She lives in Victoria, Australia. Joseph Wilkins is an illustrator and designer based in the city of Oxford, UK. He currently works from a studio near the vibrant Cowley road. Anne Giulieri has worked as a primary school teacher for over 25 years. She has been a classroom specialist, and intervention teacher, and has worked with children with special needs. She is currently working at Broadmeadows Primary School in Victoria, Australia in the role of intervention teacher and mentor. Ann works daily with children and teachers in the Early Years instructing them on best teaching practice in all areas of literacy. Anne is the author of S. I. D. S. National Education Red Nose Day Packages, Safety House Educational Package PreK-6, and has written extensively for leading educational publishers.
