Jay Dale is the lead author and consultant for Engage Literacy. Jay comes from a teaching background, having taught in both Australia and Japan. She is also an experienced editor and publisher. An accomplished children's book author, Jay has written extensively for leading educational publishers and has many successful titles currently in print. Jay has also authored and published electronic products including teaching objects for interactive whiteboards and digital activities for children. Lisa Hunt would stay up late at night as a kid, scribbling in her sketchbooks. Fast forward to today, and she still stays up late at night scribbling in her sketchbooks. When not at her desk, she can be found in the local coffee shop or at home waggling a bit of string at an over-excited ginger cat. Wendy Graham is a full-time writer of trade and educational books for children and young adults, and holds a Diploma in Professional Writing and Editing. Her published works include the young adult novel SUMMER'S STORY, published in 2004, and junior novels ROBBIE ROBINSON AND THE LAST CRAYFISH (2004) and MONKEY'S WEDDING (2000). Wendy is also prolific in the educational market, having had some thirty books for children published. Anne Giulieri has worked as a primary school teacher for over 25 years. She has been a classroom specialist, and intervention teacher, and has worked with children with special needs. She is currently working at Broadmeadows Primary School in Victoria, Australia in the role of intervention teacher and mentor. Ann works daily with children and teachers in the Early Years instructing them on best teaching practice in all areas of literacy. Anne is the author of S. I. D. S. National Education Red Nose Day Packages, Safety House Educational Package PreK-6, and has written extensively for leading educational publishers.
