This Advent calendar is designed specifically to involve children in the Bible. On each day of Advent the Christmas story is told through the alphabet. Starting with A is for angel, the story unfolds a page a day, with an appropriate Bible passage and a prayer for each day of Advent. A special feature of this book is the ongoing craft activity with all instructions for making a Christmas tree decoration linked to the theme of the letter for each day. As Advent unfolds the reader can build a set of decorations to give the Christmas tree a truly Christian flavour.
