Beatrice Masini was born in Milan, Italy, where she lives and works. A journalist, editor and translator, she has won numerous prizes for her children's books. Lenny Hort, the author of George Washington and Nelson Mandela in the DK Biography series, has written many books for children, including the popular picture books Did Dinosaurs Eat Pizza? and The Seals on the Bus. His wife, Laaren Brown, has been a writer and editor for more than twenty years. They live in New Jersey with their daughters, Irene, Phoebe, and Sophie. AnnaLaura Cantone is the illustrator of many silly children's books, including My Favorite Thing (According to Alberta) by Emily Jenkins, as well as the two Pecorino books. She lives her husband in Milan, Italy.
