Nelly Gnu loves her daddy so much, so when she gets to spend the whole day with just him, she is over the moon. Even better, he has a special project for the two of them to do together - build a play house! A box, some tape, a saw, and string...Daddy can do anything! First they measure. Then they draw...Daddy tapes...and Nelly saws. Daddy Gnu even has a solution when Nelly worries that her house needs flowers. They'll go to the store to get some. But the store is a bit distracting, for both Daddy and Nelly, and when Nelly misplaces her dolly, she suddenly I realizes that she's lost her daddy as well! It's a scary moment for a little gnu, until Daddy swoops in with his strong arms and reassures her that he was there all along. Written in Anna's fun-to-read rhyming text, Nelly Gnu and Daddy Too in board book format is perfect for Anna Dewdney's youngest readers to read along with Daddy (and Mummy, too).
