Code Quest is a narrative non-fiction series that challenges the reader to solve historical mysteries. Each title presents a unique, interactive story in which the reader learns about historical codes, pictograms and symbols by completing various code-breaking tasks.
While looking through documents connected with the Titanic's maiden voyage, a journalist discovers that he might be related to a pair of fugitives, who disappeared from his home town and perished in the disaster. He follows a trail of evidence, along the route of a memorial cruise, in order to discover the identity of the runaways and the reasons for their flight.

Anita Croy has written numerous books for children, mainly about ancient and modern history and the geography of Asia and the Americas, where she has travelled widely. She lives in London with her young family. Mick Posen studied at Ravensbourne and Brighton Art college in the 1970s. He spent many years illustrating fantasy and sci-fi book covers using traditional airbrush and painting techniques. He now works digitally using 3D and 2D software and is also venturing into animation. He lives in the depths of Suffolk with his wife and cat.
