Matt Doeden is a freelance author and editor from Minnesota. He's written numerous children's books on sports, music, current events, the military, extreme survival, and much more. His books Sandy Koufax (Twenty-First Century Books, 2006) and Tom Brady: Unlikely Champion (Twenty-First Century Books, 2011) were Junior Library Guild selections. Doeden began his career as a sports writer before turning to publishing. He lives in Minnesota with his wife and two children. Emily Raij has been a book editor for more than 10 years. She specializes in editing professional resources for K-12 educators. She has also written for various publications focusing on parenting topics and children with special needs. Emily is a native of Chicago, where she earned her bachelor's degree in journalism from Northwestern University. She currently lives in Tampa, Florida, with her husband, daughter, and son. Angie Kaelberer has been a writer and editor for 20 years, including 15 years in children's publishing. Among her more than 20 books for kids are several about pro wrestling.
