It employs a wide range of methods to cover research, improvisation, script writing, design and presentation. In addition to the five core units, each of which could be used as the basis of a term's work, there is guidance for students on coursework and examinations. Each unit contains a special assignment to extend skills and knowledge. The new issue of this established text coincides with new editions of "The Script Sampler" (formerly "Drama Sampler") and "Starting with Scripts".
