This book takes us through a child's playful dialogue with a parent. She asks questions, ostensibly about the doings of a mischievous animal and whether the parent would love such a creature. The parent always gives the hoped-for reply, answering each time with affectionate tolerance. The fun-filled, whimsical illustrations depict child and animal together, glorying in each harmless transgression.
