Ana de Moraes (Author) Ana de Moraes grew up in Brazil, and now lives in London with her husband and picture book co-creator Thiago and their children. She has always been an incurable storyteller, working as a journalist and creator of television shows, and since having children is exploring ways to share those universal stories with a younger audience. Thiago de Moraes (Illustrator) Thiago De Moraes grew up obsessed with drawing and would doodle on anything - even his exam papers. He started illustrating professionally at the age of 16 for a Brazilian newspaper, and has won major awards for his illustration work in advertising. After university Thiago came to London with his wife and picture book co-creator Ana, and they still live there with their children.
