While in Georgia she worked for several years as a Flash animator for IBM and the Cartoon Network, where she met and married fellow animator Scott Ball. They collaborated on a series of animated shorts and games and promoted them by launching a webcomic called "Scooter and Ferret" in 2004. While Georgia grew as a web developer, she also had to grow as a writer to keep the strip afloat.
