Oliver Postgate, along with his colleague Peter Firmin, created many hours of children's television throughout the 1950s, 1960s and 1970s. They include "The Clangers", "Noggin the Nog", "Ivor the Engine" and many more. Oliver Postgate was the writer and narrator, and Peter Firmin produced the artwork and puppets.
