This book features masks from all over the world, such as the shark, crocodile and hippopotamus masks worn in a water spirit ceremony by the Ibo people of Nigeria. It shows how masks are made and how they are used, for example those made by the Arawak and Tucano people of Columbia to rive ghosts from the home. It includes masks that you can make, such as a Native American bird mask.
