Keith Pledger taught maths between 1975 and 1990, as well as doing advisory work for an LEA. He has authored over 40 textbooks for schools and colleges. Greg Byrd has been a Maths and Statistics teacher (GCSE and 'A' level) in Pembroke School for 18 years. During this time he has been involved in several innovative schemes that have helped his department triple its A* to C pass rate at GCSE. He is currently Assistant Head of Maths and Assistant Head of Year. He has previously written an Application of Number for Health and Social Care book, as well as writing maths questions for TV programmes.
