Success in Maths is a new full-colour 4-level course for lower secondary schools, designed both to stimulate students' interest and to increase their confidence in mathematics through a unique course approach:
- Each topic is practised extensively through a series of exercises ('Practice') that become progressively more challenging.
- Optional extension exercises ('Further Practice') add to students' confidence once they have succeeded with the earlier exercises.
- 'Key fact' and 'Word check' boxes throughout each chapter provide simple explanations and reminders of mathematical concepts.
- Success in Maths for the Caribbean (students' book 4) has an accompanying Workbook that provides additional exercises that can be used for homework or further classwork.
- The Teacher's Guide makes it easier for teachers to plan lessons and deal with common pitfalls, and provides a variety of Tests for use throughout the year.
All of these features enable students to achieve greater success in ther mathematics studies.
