Megan Cooley Peterson is a children's book author and editor. She received a Bachelor's degree in English, with an emphasis in creative writing, from Minnesota State University Mankato and graduated summa cum laude. She lives in Mankato, Minnesota, with her family. Some of Allan Morey's favorite childhood memories are from the time he spent on a farm in Wisconsin. Everyday he saw cows, chickens, and sheep. He even had a pet pig named Pete. He developed a great appreciation of animals, big and small.
