Lucas Wellington has been teaching students with BESD in inner city Bristol schools for the last 10 years and is currently part of the senior leadership team of the North Bristol BESD school. For four of these years he was Literacy co-ordinator, so was involved in buying suitable and engaging reading material, co-ordinating reading intervention programmes and promoting literacy across the school.
